Relive an Edwardian soirée this Bloomsday in the building where James Joyce received singing lessons in preparation for the 1904 Feis Ceoil. Hosted by Michael Shanley, this evening will see a host of artists ranging from soprano to “base barreltone” performing songs referred to in Joyce’s work, reproducing the sounds of Joyce’s time with arias, ballads, popular and music hall numbers. Colm ‘Stride’ O’Brien, an experienced and accomplished pianist, will provide the accompaniment for the evening.
