This new work by dancer, filmmaker and musician Áine Stapleton continues the examination of the life of Lucia Joyce begun in her earlier film Medicated Milk.
Horrible Creature will focus on Lucia's life between 1915-1950, exploring her time as a professional dance artist, her romantic relationships, the circumstances surrounding her incarceration by her brother and her time under threat in an occupied zone at a psychiatric hospital during World War 2.
