Our Joycean Jaunt returns for its 3rd year with some new ‘stop spots’ and contributors.
10:00am will see proceedings commence at the Barbara Ward Clonliffe & Croke Park Community Centre, Distillery Road.
Jaunting our way through Drumcondra, we’ll stop at the National Council for the Blind of Ireland (NCBI) on Whitworth Road (11:00am). From there, we’ll move from Lower to Upper, stopping at a number of locations including the ‘Apex of the Avenues’ (Millmount & Millbourne outside Drumcondra Library) before concluding at St Patrick’s DCU (1:45pm).
Readings, poems, songs, music, sculpture, insights to the work of Joyce, information on the man himself and jollification will be the order of the day.
