Beyond Blooming: An Open Page Reading Night & Celebration of Queer Ireland

Beyond Blooming is a special reading event celebrating both Bloomsday and Pride hosted by the Open Page Writers Group in the Irish Writers Centre on Bloomsday, Tuesday, 16th June at 6pm.

Join us for an evening of celebration and shared creativity in a welcoming, queer-led space. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or just beginning, this reading is a chance to explore, connect and celebrate storytelling in all its forms.

Tickets for this event are sold on a donation basis. You can decide how much you would like to donate. We recommend anywhere between €5-10 but please don’t worry if you need to go lower! If you need a free ticket, just reach out, and we will be happy to help.

Open Page Writers is a weekly writers’ group based in Dublin. We aim to create a regular space where writers can focus on their craft, explore their practice, and support one another in an open, inclusive, and judgement-free environment. Writers of all backgrounds, genres, ages, and identities are warmly welcome. Above all, this is a queer and trans-friendly space.
