Celebrate Bloomsday at The Oarsman in Ringsend, a pub immortalised in James Joyce’s Ulysses!
Tunney’s Bar, a pub founded in 1816, was referenced twice in Ulysses. Now known as The Oarsman, the pub will offer an all-day traditional Bloomsday breakfast. That’s right — mutton kidneys with a gorgonzola sandwich and a glass of burgandy!
Dress up in your best Bloomsday costume and you can win 1st & 2nd prizes for best dressed. 1st Prize will receive a €100 voucher for food and drinks. 2nd Prize will receive a €50 voucher. Runner up gets two free drinks!
