James Joyce Institute of Ireland Annual Pre-Bloomsday Walk
The annual pre-Bloomsday walk by members of the James Joyce Institute of Ireland will take place on Sunday, 14th at 2pm, starting at Fusiliers’ Arch on the Grafton Street Corner of St Stephen’s Green.
The walk, involving on-location readings and dramatisations, follows various sections of the ‘Wandering Rocks’ episode of Ulysses.
The walk will proceed down Grafton Street to College Green, and via Trinity Street and Wicklow Street to Nassau Street, and onwards toward Merrion Square. It is expected to last about two hours and is open to members of the public. The walk will be guided by Robert Nicholson, author of The Ulysses Guide: Tours Through Joyce’s Dublin.
The event is free and booking to the public. No booking is required. Bring a copy of Ulysses if you have one.
