Celebrate Bloomsday with Golden Globe-nominated and IFTA award-winning composer Brian Byrne who performs a selection of songs from his brand new Goldenhair album in his hometown of Navan, with special guests and friends, including William Byrne, Lisa Lambe, Hayley Jo Murphy and more. Additional artists will be updated as added.
Originally a suite of chamber works, Byrne’s twenty-one track album sets the stanzas of select poems from James Joyce’s 1907 collection Chamber Music to original orchestrations. Ranging in style from adult contemporary, to jazz, bluegrass and more, the tracks of Goldenhair feature numerous world-renowned, award-winning artists including Grammy-award winning jazz vocalist KURT ELLING, Golden Globe-winning actress GLENN CLOSE, Prince’s singer/songwriter protégé JUDITH HILL and British musician/songwriter JULIAN LENNON.
