Bloomsday at Milton’s Cottage

Join us at John Milton’s only surviving residence as we celebrate Bloomsday with partners around the world. Joyce references Milton throughout Ulysses, particularly his early pastoral poem “Lycidas,” which is reluctantly read aloud by one of Stephen Dedalus’ pupils. Join us for a shared reading of “Nestor” and other Miltonic excerpts from Ulysses along with drinks, appetizers and entertainment inspired by Joyce’s masterpiece.

The event is free.
