June is James Joyce Month!

Join the Here Comes Everybody Players at one or more of their June theatrical and musical Joycean celebrations. Celebrating James Joyce at Lit Crawl, one of 24 separate literary happenings on June 6 in and around Union Square, Somerville.

Enjoy the humor, pathos and extraordinary language of the work of James Joyce as veteran Lit Crawlers, The Here Comes Everybody Players, present short theatrical adaptations of Joyce’s literary work, with music by the HCE Trio. If you are not familiar with Joyce, this will be a great introduction. If you already know his work you may recognize some familiar pieces – or discover some new ones!

Bloomsday /Father’s Day 2024

To celebrate Bloomsday and Father’s Day we present a curated performance from the work of James Joyce related to Fathers and Fatherhood. The performance will include performed excerpts from Dubliners, A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, Ulysses and Finnegans Wake and songs that Joyce sang with his father and with his son, Giorgio.
