Bloomsday in Budapest

The Embassy of Ireland, Hungary will be hosting a garden party, Bloom Budapest Bloom, on June 13th. Alongside Joyce, it will celebrate W.B. Yeats, who also has some remarkable Hungarian links and was born on June 13th. It will also incorporate the Budapest Grand Novel, part of the ULYSSES European Odyssey project, published last year to celebrate the city’s 150th anniversary.
