Σε συνεργασία με την Πρεσβεία της Ιρλανδίας στην Κύπρο και το James Joyce Centre στο Δουβλίνο, το Ιδεόγραμμα διοργανώνει φέτος, το 5ο Φεστιβάλ Bloomsday στην Κύπρο, προς τιμήν του σπουδαίου Ιρλανδού συγγραφέα James Joyce, με τίτλο Γυναικείες Φωνές στο έργο του James Joyce, Ulysess
Η σημαντική συνεργασία με το James Joyce Centre Dublin, φέρνει κοντά μας τον διεθνούς φήμης τενόρο και ηθοποιό Morgan Crowley ο οποίος θα παίξει πιάνο και θα τραγουδήσει, και μαζί με τις ηθοποιούς του θεάτρου, Έρικα Μπεγέτη και Ιωάννα Παπαμιχαλοπούλου θα διαβάσουν κείμενα από διάφορα κεφάλαια του Ulysses.
Την εκδήλωση επιμελείται η Λίλη Μιχαηλίδου και θα είναι στα ελληνικά και αγγλικά, και η είσοδος ελεύθερη…

The Embassy of Ireland in Cyprus, in collaboration with Ideogramma, is proud to announce its renewed partnership with the James Joyce Centre in Dublin. For the second year in a row, we welcome the renowned tenor and actor Morgan Crowley for the 5th edition of the Cyprus Bloomsday Festival. Accompanied by two local actresses, he will perform songs and readings from James Joyce’s “Ulysses,” exploring the powerful role of women in both the book and the writer’s life.

Bios:
Morgan Crowley
Dublin-born Morgan Crowley has had a diverse career across five continents, appearing on a Grammy-winning CD, Tony Award winning musical and the stage version of an Oscar-winning film.
Morgan trained classically in music and drama and is a Masters Graduate of Trinity College Dublin. He works extensively in all media with credits worldwide including BBC’s Eastenders, Disney, The Wiggles, National Theatre/RSC, Royal Opera Covent Garden, Prometheus, Messiah, Universal Pictures & Columbia Artists.
Notable Broadway/West-End/international theatre leading roles include Phantom of the Opera, Hairspray, Chicago, Sweeney Todd, Cirque du Soleil, Riverdance, Scrooge, Playboy of the Western World and the world premiere of James Joyce’s “The Dead” at Ireland’s National Theatre, the Abbey.
Erika Begeti
Erika Begeti was born in Sparta, Greece. She studied law in Athens and theater at the Veaki School. Since 2000, she has been living and working in Cyprus. She has collaborated with THOC (Cyprus Theatre Organisation), Theatre Ena, Alpha Square, and many other theater companies in more than seventy performances. She has also worked in radio, television, and cinema.
Ioanna Papamichalopoulou
Ioanna Papamichalopoulou was born and raised in Nicosia. She is a graduate of the “Vladimiros Kafkaridis” Drama School and the Department of Psychology at the University of Cyprus. She has collaborated with prominent theater organisations and creators in Cyprus and Greece, participating in a wide range of performances. Notable theater collaborations include the productions “Laughing Wild” with Theatro Hypogaia, “Crimes of the Heart” and “The Mousetrap” with Theatro Dionysos, “Grandeur” with Anyhow Theatre Ensemble, “Dido/Elissa” and “The Women Return” with SEZON Gynaikes, “Twelfth Night” with Open Arts, “Eliza” with Porta Theatre, as well as THOC (Cyprus Theatre Organisation) productions “Filumena Marturano”, “A Monster Calls”, “The Phoenician Women”, “The Government Inspector”, and “Ion”. On television, she participated in the CYBC period drama series “Halkina Hronia”, “Cypriot Sketches” and “Periklis and Erietta”.
