Bloomsday in Lisbon
Calling all bookworms in Lisbon, Portugal! Celebrate Bloomsday 2026 by grabbing a free book by an Irish writer on a bench in Avenida da Liberdade, right across from the Embassy of Ireland in Portugal.
Where to grab your copy?
The Embassy will be distributing copies of the books, translated into Portuguese, on the benches in Avenida da Liberdade closest to our Embassy’s address (Avenida Liberdade, 200). Grab your copy and post a picture with #Bloomsday and tag us (@IRLEmbLisbon).
When?
Books will be distributed at 9am and 1pm on 16 June.
