Now an official INDY AWARD winner, Bloomsday returns for its forth year on Monday June 16 (of course) for a reading of the works of James Joyce by prominent local actors, writers, and others.
Join Joyce fans around the world to explore his novel Ulysses and also support books and reading and ideas at the James Joyce Pub from 6pm, followed by an Irish music concert by The Waymarkers! Performers include Henry Brown, James Claffey, Bill Egan, Roger Durling, Matt Tavianini, James McCarthy, George Yatchisin, Chryss Yost, James Read, Starshine Roshell and Emma Jane Huerta + surprise guests!
Joyce-themed snacks will be served. This event is suggested for adults (it’s in a bar, after all).
Presented by local authors James Buckley Jr. and DJ Palladino. Donations accepted at the event for the Santa Barbara Library Foundation.
