Now an official INDY AWARD winner, Bloomsday returns for its third year on Sunday June 16 (of course) for a reading of the works of James Joyce by prominent local actors, writers, and others.
Join Joyce fans around the world to explore his novel Ulysses and also support books and reading and ideas at the James Joyce Pub from 5pm, followed by an Irish music concert by The Waymarkers! Performers include Lark Batteau, Henry Brown, Jay Carlander, Claffey, Bill Egan, Roger Durling, Maureen Foley, Michael Fatz, Matt Tavianini, James McCarthy, George Yatchisin, and Chryss Yost.
Joyce-themed snacks will be served. This event is suggested for adults (it’s in a bar, after all).
Presented by local authors James Buckley Jr. and DJ Palladino. Donations accepted at the event for the Santa Barbara Library Foundation.
