Bloomsday in Santiago

On 12th June at 7.30pm, discover which Irish authors and books have influenced some of the most recognized voices in Chilean literature. To celebrate, the Embassy of Ireland in Chile in collaboration with Librería Azafrán invite Chilean writers Diamela Eltit, Mantoi, Ariel Florencia Richards and Alberto Fuguet to share readings from Irish authors who have been important in their lives, and to talk about how those works have influenced their own literary trajectories. Traditional Irish music will be at the helm of Cata and Jack, in an evening dedicated to literature, memory and the cultural crossroads between Ireland and Chile.
